Bull City Burger and Brewery (September 27, 2016)

September Meeting

Join us at Bull City Burger and Brewery for a behind-the-scene tour of their facility, followed by drinks and supper

Bull City Burger and Brewery, located in Downtown Durham, is a locally owned, independent restaurant and craft brewery. Central to Bull City’s core values is sustainability; their attempt is to operate while leaving the smallest energy footprint possible. They achieve this via LED lighting, heat recovery off the brewing process, recycling of the grain leftovers for pork and chicken feed and many other initiatives. A powerpoint presentation will start at 5:45 followed by a tour. Afterwards, there will be a beer tasting and anyone who wishes to stay for supper can stay. Those wishing to take part in just the presentation/tour may leave afterwards. NCAEE will be picking up a portion of the bill. A head count may be enforced, so be sure to RSVP early to get a seat. We look forward to seeing you there!
