Senior Energy Engineer

The Senior Energy Engineer is responsible for technical oversight of all areas of the contract that deal with the energy calculations, standards, policies, or criteria. The Senior Energy Engineer must have demonstrated recent experience with Government or industry processes, procedures, standards, methodologies, or tools as relative to the assignment. The Energy Engineer must be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with at least fifteen (15) years of experience in energy engineering (energy systems design, facility energy modeling, auditing, energy studies, commissioning, and validating and executing energy conservation projects). The person shall have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in either mechanical or electrical engineering. The person shall have at least three (3) years of experience in facility energy modeling and have strong background in mathematical modeling. The Senior Energy Engineer must have a thorough background in DOD, Army and Federal Energy and Sustainability laws, policies, executive orders, regulations, instructions, and guidance. There shall be only one Senior Energy Engineer on this contract.

Description:

  • Work in a team environment with engineers and designers from RoviSys, partners, and clients to provide state of the art engineering solutions to address technology decisions, data management, scalability, security, and user interface design
  • Develop solutions across a diverse technology base including mobile applications for business intelligence, global manufacturing, and operations
  • Lead teams of engineers, developers, and technicians to provide solutions for clients
  • Mentor less-experienced engineers
  • Develop engineering standards to improve efficiency and accuracy of project execution
  • Provides technical sales support to RoviSys business development team
  • Support of clients at their sites

Qualifications:

  • (15) years of experience in energy engineering (energy systems design, facility energy modeling, auditing, energy studies, commissioning, and validating and executing energy conservation projects)
  • (3) years of experience in facility energy modeling and have strong background in mathematical modeling.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) will be given additional consideration
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) will be given additional consideration
  • Recent experience with Government or industry processes, procedures, standards, methodologies, or tools as relative to the assignment
  • Self-motivated, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with people
  • Thorough background in DOD, Army and Federal Energy and Sustainability laws, policies, executive orders, regulations, instructions, and guidance.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without RoviSys sponsorship
