EPA RTP Campus Tour (August 25, 2015)

August Meeting

Join us on August 25th for a tour of the EPA campus in RTP

The tour will be provided by Greg Eades, who is a mechanical engineer for the campus. In total, there is over 1 million square feet of lab and office space (60-40 split). The tour will focus on mechanical systems, primarily on the lab supply and exhaust VAV HVAC systems and associated controls. There is also a large heat recovery system that was recently completed. In addition, the campus also incorporates a lot of design and construction practices that helped to inform the LEED process. Pizza and drinks will be provided at no cost to attendees. Due to space constraints, the tour will have a cap on the number of attendees, so if you’d like to attend make sure to RSVP early. For more information about the campus, check out their website. We look forward to seeing you there!
